ABOUT AMY

ABOUT

Amy Stapleton

My name is Amy Stapleton, LCSW. I am originally from Cincinnati, OH, but I moved to Nashville in 1988. I am a proud graduate of Belmont University (BA) and the University of Tennessee’s School of Social Work (MSW). I currently reside in the Brentwood area with my spouse and two cats. In my free time, you can often find me curled up with a book or hiking at Warner Park.

I have over 16 years of extensive experience at Alive Hospice, where I provided compassionate support to children and adults at the end of life, as well as bereavement support to their loved ones. For the past 25 years, I have been privileged to work with Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, where I continue to facilitate support groups for individuals whose lives have been affected by cancer.

My specialty is helping individuals navigate significant life transitions and the intense emotions that accompany them. I assist with issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-worth, grief from various types of loss, and navigating challenging relationships. I understand that it takes immense courage to seek guidance, and by visiting this site, you have already taken a significant first step toward healing. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation via phone or video to ensure that we are a good fit for working together.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and support you.
